For a high-mile car driven by a completely normal person, what would new suspension offer me?
Say, for a daily driver with 140k miles where comfort is valued over outright handling. Would I be better off buying OEM stuff vs aftermarket? What should I be looking for?
2003 Honda Civic sedan, 5 speed.

I've found myself wondering the same thing lately... Standing by for oppo brilliance.

I’m not going to be of any use answering your question, but I thought this was amusing.

You need another C chord. You’re leaving me hanging.

Ah suspending the root into the five. Well done, sir.

Sorry. That really was a rude thing to do. Though I’m not really a fan of root-position C-chords, this one will have to do.

-5 for poor voice leading. You really need to resolve that B up to the C.

I recently replaced the suspension on my ‘99 Camry at 130k miles with KYB Strut-Plus assemblies all around. It was a big difference but the Camry’s old suspension was very obviously worn out — it was like driving on molten cheese.

May I make a suggestion? Install KYB Excel G struts all around. Use quick-struts all around, or be sure to replace the top strut mounts. Maximum ROI.
